The Odd Angry Shot (Text Classics) - Softcover

William Nagle was born in Bacchus Marsh, Australia in 1947. Enlisting in the army in 1964, he qualified as a cook the next year. In mid-1966 he was deployed with the SAS to Saigon, but was sent home for subordination and later discharged. His award-winning novel The Odd Angry Shot fictionalized his experiences in Vietnam. Nagle married and spent the latter years of his life in Los Angeles. He died in 2002.
