Professor Tanya Dalziell teaches in English and Cultural Studies at The University of Western Australia. She is the author of Settler Romances and the Australian Girl (UWA Press, 2004), and is co-editor of Cultural Seeds: Essays on the Work of Nick Cave (Ashgate, 2009). Associate Professor Paul Genoni teaches with the School of Media, Culture and Creative Arts at Curtin University. He is the author of Subverting the Empire: Explorers and Exploration in Australian Fiction (Common Ground, 2004), and co-editor of Thea Astley's Fictional Worlds (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2006).
