Rory was born in South Africa, and has a certificate in Bible Theology through SATS (South African Theological Seminary). 

He is married to Pauline and they reside in Leeds, England, where he is actively involved in their local church.

Rory is also the author of Breakthrough into Deeper Intimacy with God (2023).
