Many of us will know someone who has been raped but what's it really like? This memoir takes an honest look at Jenny's experience of living with the impact of rape. It illustrates the ways in which trauma manifests itself at different times through her life. Jenny shares her story in the hope that it will help others to feel less alone and increase awareness of the damage caused by this heinous crime.

Jenny lives in London. She has 3 grown up children and is fostering a cat called Gigi. She worked as a nurse for 18 years and much of this time was spent as a District Nurse. Jenny went on to train in counselling and parenting work. She spent several years working with young families in South London. Currently Jenny has taken a break from work and thinks she may have accidentally retired.
