Charley Barnes is an author and academic from the West Midlands, UK. She has taught Creative and Professional Writing at various institutions around the area, including University of Birmingham, University of Worcester, and most recently the University of Wolverhampton. In academia, she specialises in representation in crime fiction, considering the female body and psyche.
