Shane and Marcus are old friends who have started a business together. Shane grew up in a volatile neighbourhood, while Marcus grew up in the more affluent side of town. The two meet in high school and become the best of friends, some would even say they were brothers. But after being friends for 10 years, Shane and Marcus's friendship is tested. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Caleb Stark is a fifteen-year-old being raised in a volatile community in Brooklyn, New York. Though he writes fiction, all his stories are influenced by his surroundings. With his short stories, Caleb hopes to teach kids from volatile communities to not allow where they are from or what they have been through to dictate their futures. Caleb wants young people to know that they can break barriers and change their own lives and that of their families.
