Annie grew up in a tiny fishing village on the North East coast, read English Literature at Newcastle University before moving to London where she worked in publishing and recruitment. When her children were born she became a teacher and twenty years ago moved to Cyprus where she continued teaching until last year. Since then she has been writing full time and is now published widely. Her debut chapbook Birth Mote(s) was published in July 2022. Splashing Pink, her first collaborative work was published by The Hedgehog Press.
