Summer on the Isle of Bute and the Fair has arrived at the Esplanade in Rothesay.
In charge of her grandchildren for the weekend, Alison Cameron is sure the attractions of the Fair will prove popular.
All does not go as planned. A death on The Waltzer, an encounter with someone from her past and, much against her better judgement, Alison finds herself involved in another mystery on the island.
