<div><b>Martin Armst</b>rong (1882&#8211;1974) was an English writer and poet, known for his short stories.&#160;<b>Eric Ravilious </b>(1903&#8211;42) was a painter, designer, muralist, book illustrator, and wood engraver. He served as a war artist and died when the aircraft he was in was lost off Iceland.</div>
