This is the eighth volume of the popular and well-establsihed series of level walks books. Claimed to be the largest inland county in England, Shropshire is, without doubt, a place of fine towns and villages, set in a diverse and greatly attractive landscape. The 20 walks in this book are predominantly short and should be accessible to virtually all country walkers. Included, for each walk, are clear route directions, map and a brief description of features encountered along the way as well as recommendations for refreshment.

Norman and June Buckley live in the Lake District and have been enthusiastic walkers, home and abroad, for many years.
