Michaela Giles has worked in the livestock health industry since 1985 researching into the detection, mechanisms and cures of naturally occurring livestock diseases. She is a member of the Animal and Plant Health Agency's Pig Expert Group, the Animal Health and Welfare South-East group and an elected regional sector representative for the British Pig Association. She is also a regular writer and contributor for the Practical Pigs magazine
