It is impossible in our society to avoid explaining Santa Claus to our children. The author found that although there are many books describing Santa as though he were real, there were little or no resources for parents who chose not to perpetuate the Santa myth. This book was written both as a tool to tell her own daughter about Santa and as an aid to give parents a choice in what they choose to tell their children. This book is NOT suitable for parents who want their children to believe in Santa.This version is written for the UK, Australian and NZ markets and so uses the terms Mum and Mummy.
