Dave Smith is the founder of the Boaz Trust and has been working with destitute asylum seekers for 12 years. In 2012, he was awarded the British Empire Medal in the honours list but returned it in protest at UK asylum policies. He is also coordinator of NACCOM, the national no accommodation network. He is the author of The Book of Boaz.
