But as his apparent insanity begins to wreak havoc on the innocent and guilty alike, Hamlet must confront the dire consequences of his actions. Hamlet remains the world's most widely studied and performed play, a cornerstone of world literature that showcases Shakespeare's unparalleled insight into the human condition.
