I'm a bit of an old fashioned home body who gets a kick out of make do and mend, making my own gifts and using what I have around me to make life as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The kitchen is the heart of my home and I love nothing better than puttering around in there cooking, baking and creating. I love to share what I've learned and have done this through my writing and presenting both in print (Handmade Living, Simply Beautiful, Scottish Woman, Mingle to name but a few) and on television (STV s The Hour where I was their Herb And Homecrafts Expert) and radio (BBC Radio Scotland s MacAulay & Co Show where I am Homecrafts Expert and through numerous talks and demos at events of all sizes from The Country Living Fair at Glasgow s SECC and The Scottish Gardening Show at Ingliston to club society talks. I have written four books to date; So Easy Herbal, So Easy Christmas and Simply Scottish Cakes & Bakes and Simply Scottish A Wee Taste Of Scotland.
