Adaptive Tachistoscopic Traffic Perception Test (ATAVT) forms part of the new selection process for trainee train drivers in the UK. The test itself involves answering questions relating to a series of images which are flashed up in front of the candidate's eyes for a very short period of time only. During the test a prospective train driver applicant will see variety of images for approximately one second only. They are then required to answer questions about what they saw. Shortly before each picture appears on the computer screen they will hear a short tone. The ATAVT CD by How2become.com is the closest thing to the actual test. We have managed to replicate the test in this CD ROM format so that you can practice it in the comfort of your own home. This is the only preparation tool available anywhere and consists of 100 sample questions.
