Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Alan was Born in Fulham and he lived his early years within the south London area, moving to Elephant & Castle, Wandsworth, then to Battersea. He lived amongst the colourful and dark side of the populous of these areas throughout the most vibrant years of the sixties, seventies up until the late eighties, when he then left England and travelled extensively throughout the Middle East. Whilst working in the Middle East in the small Peninsula of Qatar, he was befriended by a powerful Sheikh whom he unwittingly rescued from an embarrassing situation. This Sheikh was renowned for regularly rebelling against the rulers of the country, which caused much friction. Alan was approached by the British Embassy on behalf of the rulers, to negotiate sensitive issues for the countries 'wellbeing', which he successfully achieved. In Oman, his services were recruited by the S.A.S. to investigate and survey a Desert area controlled by the Bedouin, for the construction of the countries largest Military camp. This exercise was carried out in the then, heavily rebel held area of Salalha. Alan has returned to England and settled in Oxford, to take a different view of life with his family.
