This is the story of a woman whose actions can only be described as extravagant!

Her entrance onto the stage of Jesus’ story is one of the most controversial in His entire ministry. Her extravagance is audacious, but also culturally and socially outrageous. She risked what little reputation she had by ministering to Jesus in an unforgettable way, in the worst possible context – the home of a respected Pharisee.

Extravagant explores the story of this woman who speaks not a single word in the New Testament account, yet whose actions proclaim a message, loud and clear to us all. As we look beneath the surface, her actions are more shocking and more glorious than we first realise.

This book gets to the heart of the story, but also to the heart of Jesus. He likes what she does, why she does it, and He honours her for it. Through Jesus’ response we journey into the heart of forgiveness, mercy and love, and discover what true worship looks like.

Take the journey … learn how to live a life of extravagance!

“The world of worship has only one currency – extravagance … Get ready to start an emotional journey that will be highly informative, deeply challenging and life transforming.”
