Bob Dewar was born in Edinburgh. He was first published nationally when he was sixteen. He has had exhibitions in Edinburgh and Italy, and for fifteen years did political and social commentary for The Scotsman.

Allan Morrison was the HR Manager at IBM in Greenock, Scotland, until he retired. He is Scotland's bestselling humour author and has been writing distinctive Scottish joke and gift books for years.
