Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Artist Zhang Xiaobai is a famous Chinese manga illustrator as well as a key member of the Beijing Assassin Tattoo Organization. Her manga Si loin et si proche (published by Edition Kana in France) won the Gold Medal in 2011 at the Fourth International Manga Competition in Japan.

Xiaobai is a well-known new-generation illustrator. She works as a freelancer specializing in illustration, comic art, and tattoo art. Her works have been used as illustrations for online games and magazine covers. Many of her illustrations have become greatly sought-after tattoo motifs for both domestic and foreign tattoo lovers.
In 2010, her mid-length comic Si Loin et Si Proche won the Gold Award at "The Fourth International MANGA Award," making her the first Chinese female comic artist to win this award.
