Zohra, whose first language is not English, certainly achieves this, combining simple words and large ideas. The memory of reading to my own children when they were very young is, for me, a joy. In this day and age, when it is too easy to shower youngsters with electronics and evade the responsibility to entertain them personally, family can miss out on the golden gift of quality time spent reading to, and educating, their children.
