The IT industry is currently responsible for the same level of carbon emissions as the aviation industry, and experts predict that these emissions will actually double in the next few years. There is a common consensus across all industry sectors that organisations have a responsibility to cut their carbon dioxide emissions if the effects of climate change are to be addressed.
