Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

The irresistible rise of Ducoboo is due to the talents of Zidrou and Godi. A former teacher and current creator of songs and books for children, Zidrou is the scriptwriter of several Graphic Novels, notably Ducoboo, which he produces in collaboration with Godi. Godi published his first humorous comic strips in the Tintin Newspaper during the Seventies. Appearing in 1992, their Ducobu Pupil quickly became a favourite character of children.

The character of Lucky Luke became a myth thanks to Morris (his creator) and Goscinny. These two giants of the 9th art collaborated with passion for more than 20 years until the death of the famous scriptwriter. Goscinny is the author of the well-known Astérix, which he launched with Uderzo. He also co-authored Iznogoud with Tabary. In 1992, Morris received the 'Grand Prix Spécial 20ème Anniversaire' from the international comics show at Angoulême, and in 1998, the French Minister of Culture decorated him with the rank of 'Officier des Arts et des Lettres'.

Felps decides to plant lettuce on his property. But rancher Cass Casey's herds regularly ransack Felps' grounds... Furious, he hires Lucky Luke for protection from Casey. Felps wants to surround his property with barbed wire, which in the Old West is regarded as a provocation. And so, war is declared between the ranchers and the farmers...
