Environment Poetry for Key Stage 2 Literacy Lessons - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

This is a great new resource that provides a selection of poems, lesson plans and worksheets, designed to be used by Key Stage 2 teachers in literacy lessons. The poems model the poetry writing skills that children need to acquire in Key Stage 2 and are based on a variety of environmental issues, such as recycling, dramatic weather changes, energy sources, water conservation, human impact on the environment and environmental disasters (like oil spills). The book contains 24 lessons, and each lesson includes cross-curricular links to support learning in other subject areas. The books will help teachers in engaging children with environmental issues and schools to become more sustainable organisations.
