The Joy of Murder - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

"The Joy of Murder" is the biography of Joy Swift M.B.E. who invented the concept of "Murder Mystery" weekends and holidays. Joy has captured the imagination of thousands of "murder mystery" sleuths who travel all over Britain and as far afield as the mysterious River Nile to try and solve her plots which stand at 70 to date. Joy's own life is as intriguing as some of her stories and she reveals many of the amazing scrapes and real-life situations she has found herself in while travelling the world to satisfy the immense appetite of her fans for more murder intrigue. Joy travels in tandem with a band of actors who bring her tales to life (and death) and she once found herself on the receiving end of a police hit squad in a mainline British station as she sat on a platform innocently organising her props, including a dummy gun, for her next big event. It's all in a day's work for this real-life Agatha Christie although Joy Swift is vivacious, full of humour and anything but morbid as her avid army of followers will confirm. Of course, Joy could never write anything without signing off with a fully fledged muder mystery plot and the second half of "Joy of Murder" includes a complete new challenge for readers to solve. You will be presented with all the clues you need including pictures, letters and police evidence to find the killer and solve the crime. Once bitten, readers simply cannot get enough of Joy Swift's unque style.
