She was Donald Maclean's controller and lover in London and Paris; and was the bigamous wife of Earl Browder, General-Secretary to the American Communist Party. She also played a role in the penetration of the Manhattan Project, which developed the atomic bomb, and helped organize an illegal spy-ring in Mexico City. Igor Damaskin is a retired senior KGB officer & has served under cover in the U.S.. He is a member of the Russian Union of Writers. Geoffrey Elliott is a former Banker as well as a qualified Russian interpreter with the Intelligence Corps. He is a fellow of St. Antony's College, Oxford.
