It's a Dad's Life - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The world according to Kevin Murphy, Ireland's favorite househusband. A rapidly aging stay-at-home father, three adorable but rapidly growing daughters, and one rapidly executive wife. These are the ingredients of Kevin Murphy's hilarious weekly column in Ireland's bestselling newspaper, Sunday World. Week in, week out, he brings the understated art of househusbanding and all its zany happenings to vibrant, comic life. Now, for the first time, the very best of these columns have been brought together in "A Dad's Life," the definitive chronicle of how a one-time newspaperman copes with some of life's biggest challenges-fatherhood, parenting, hotpress management, and, yes, supermarket trolleys.

At every turn, his wit sparkles and his one-liners crackle with the intensity that only an authentically exhausted chef, nurse, and taximan can muster. Be it holidays from hell, Christmas migraines, foody fads, or tales from the teenies' twilight zone, Murphy excels at bringing us front line dispatches from the modern battleground of suburban family life. If journalism is literature in a hurry, this is the Harley Davidson version.
