Visions of Newcastle: Watercolours of Newcastle Upon Tyne - Hardcover

Visions of Newcastle is a celebration of buildings in the centre of the capital of the north east. Water colourist Paul Goldsmith has captured the fortified structures, houses, shops, pubs, theatres, bridges and academic institutions of his home town. The accompanying text enables the reader to discover more about the buildings and Newcastle's rich history.

Paul Goldsmith was born in Gateshead, he went to junior school in Low Fell then Wrekenton High School. After taking an art foundation course at Gateshead College he studied at Norwich School of Art. He has taught fine art, worked as a special needs teacher and in youth training. Paul has used his skills as an artist in many roles including theatre sets, screen printing, litho printing, portraiture, landscapes and book cover design. He has worked with a wide range of print mediums.
