Prioritisation is an important part of any risk management process because it focuses on what matters most. What matters most depends on the context and varies from one stakeholder to another and changes during the course of a project, from one phase to another. This concise guide shows how an understanding of the purpose of prioritisation is the first step towards effective risk prioritisation. Section four describes a variety of risk management techniques that will help practitioners and also students. This short and concise book has been written as a complementary volume to the current standard in project risk management, the APM s Project Risk Analysis and Management (PRAM) Guide 2nd edition, which is available from the Association for Project Management at www.apm.org.uk/PRAMGuide
