Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Lewis Baston is a Research Fellow at Kingston University. He assisted Anthony Seldon with his biography of John Major and was historical consultant to the BBC series The Major Years. Other books include Sleaze: The State of Britain. He has also contributed chapters to academic books including The Labour Party: A Centenary History and The Heath Government 1970-74 and commented on elections for the Financial Times and RTE. Simon Henig is a lecturer in British Politics at the Centre for Contemporary Political Issues, University of Sunderland. He has just completed a co-authored study on women in politics and has previously written on Labour's 1997 election campaign, following up his PhD on the growing regional electoral divide in Britain. He has made regular televised election appearances in the North East and has accurately predicted the results of the last two general elections.
