Bronze Sculpture of 'les Animaliers' 1900-1950 - Hardcover

This book is the sequel of a guide to the Les Animaliers' sculptures of the 19th century, published some fifty years ago, and written by the current author's mother, Jane.

This sizeable and extensive publication features 50 animaliere sculptors from the first part of the twentieth century, and, while including seminal artists such as François Pompon, Rembrandt Bugatti and Albéric Collin, it will also include little talked about, but no less important sculptors such as Delhommeau, Lemar, and Tofanari, to name a few.

Whenever possible, the foremost expert on each sculptor has contributed to the text, ensuring a wealth of information illustrated by hundreds of beautiful original photographs.
