This volume aims to take the reader back to the 1960s when the Warrenpoint Branch was still active. The line, which closed in 1965, ran from Goraghwood, through Newry to Warrenpoint. The author's collection of images evokes memories of summer weekend excursions behind inside cylindered 0-6-0's and 4-4-0's, many of the latter in the blue-livery of the GNRI.
