Through Pastures and Valleys is an intriguing story of friendship, courtship, marriage and the four special children of two people very much in love. No matter what the era or the location, war is horrible. June, a teenager growing up during World War II, experienced life with no men around. All males, eighteen and older, had gone into the armed forces. This meant no normal boy-girl friendships and no dates. What a miserable circumstance for any young lady to experience! However, in those war years, God did preserve one special young man, and brought him back from the Army Air Force just for her. This book is that story.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Dr. June M. Temple accepted the Lord as a teenager. She wrote about this experience in Growing In His Light, an autobiography about her childhood. The succeeding books Through Pastures and Valleys, Bush Teacher in BC and Bush Teacher in BC II contain experiences from June's college days through retirement years. She has a daily devotional titled What's Missing.
Dr. Temple's degrees are in Art, Education, Missions and Music. In 1995, she received the American Writer of the Year Award. Presently, Dr. Temple does representation for InterAct Ministries, teaches at the Center for World Missions, Canada, and continues to write magazine articles and books. She teaches a writing seminar and also accepts some speaking engagements.
