"This is the gripping, inspirational story of a legendary game warden written by another legendary game warden—Earl Pilgrim, one of Canada's most successful boxers, an indefatigable crusader for the restoration of moose and caribou, and a Master Raconteur. It is a proper tribute to both men and the wild, harsh, lovely land they have guarded so well."
Ted Williams, Contributing Editor of Audubon Magazine and Gray's Sporting Journal
