The New Resonance series, published biennially since 1999, presents the work of newly emerging poets working primarily in English-language haiku in sufficient quantity for the reader to get a sense of their individual voices. Edited by Jim Kacian and Dee Evetts, both highly-acclaimed poets working in the genre, it has become a showcase for the future of haiku, and appearance within its pages is highly contested. Each volume contains the work of 17 poets.
