Inhaltsangabe

All your deepest pain, your secret fears, your limiting thoughts and beliefs about who you are and how life works - or doesn’t work - are rooted in your subconscious mind. These ultimately determine your happiness, health, and success or failure. “The problem is - or rather, was, until now - that the subconscious has been largely inaccessible to your conscious mind, which thinks and functions in entirely different ways, so there wasn’t much you could do about it.“ In reality, the solution lay inside you all along, and by consciously speaking the subconscious’ preferred languages of imagery and emotion, you can go directly to the source of your limiting thoughts and unpleasant feelings, change your subconscious paradigms, and automatically and effortlessly improve the way you feel and the quality of life that you experience in ways beyond what you can now imagine. No need to "figure everything out" or relive every childhood trauma. The power of metaphor (along with dozens of other unique approaches) gives you a highly effective shortcut. “This book walks you through hundreds of easy-to-follow steps which will improve your world from the most basic level on up.”

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Shaun Roundy was born in New Jersey, then moved to Massachusetts, California, and Brazil before growing up in Logan, Utah. He has since lived in Spain, Taiwan, China, and Honduras. Shaun loves connecting with people, so it’s natural that he also loves languages. He speaks Spanish and French fluently, along with some Chinese and enough of four more languages to either get by or get in trouble. He first learned intuitive healing techniques thirty years ago, and has been studying, practicing, and innovating ever since. He didn’t realize how unique some of his abilities were until other professional pointed it out and encouraged him to go professional with what he had been giving away for free in order to devote more time to it and reach a wider audience. When more and more clients expressed interest in becoming intuitive energy healers and learning these techniques for themselves (“So I can make other people feel as good as I do right now!” as one explained), and with seven other books under his belt and 15 years of teaching strategic writing and critical thinking at the university level, writing this book became a logical next step. Shaun loves excellence and actualization, and has always been a cheerful, optimistic idealist, but also pragmatic enough to know that changing the world usually requires a lot of hard work or advanced knowledge. As a teacher and mentor, he attempts to build bridges to make it easier for everyone who must follow along the same path. This book is a perfect example of that orientation. Adventure also plays large roles in Shaun’s life and sense of meaning. He enjoys most outdoor and extreme sports and has climbed 18,000' mountains and sailed 2,500 miles through two oceans as first mate aboard a 53’ sailboat. For the past fifteen years, he has put his expertise to serviceable use on the busy Utah County Sheriff volunteer Search and Rescue team and as the chair of the Mountain Rescue Association’s Intermountain Region for most of the past seven years. Other notable accomplishments include a master’s degree in English, a political science internship in Washington, DC, appearances on the Discovery Channel, NPR’s All Things Considered, award-winning KUED documentaries, and numerous appearances on the local news.
