Ready for clarity, relief and empowerment? Simple yet powerful intuitive skills release, transcend, or transform former limitations! What is Heal Your Mind? Heal Your Mind is an investment in yourself, your clarity, happiness, and life mission. Its techniques are founded on modern neuroscience but it focuses on practical application, more like a workbook than a textbook. The book teaches you to communicate with your subconscious mind in its native languages - imagery and emotion - and thereby help it release stuck thought patterns that cause suffering and limit progress. It also provides dozens of insightful perspectives and choices on happiness, identity, challenges, healing, love, abundance, and more. Why is the conscious/subconscious mind split so important? The conscious mind is rational. It makes sense. If it ran the show, it could manage your life quite nicely. The subconscious is emotional. It mostly only cares about survival, which makes it risk averse. That means it does a great job of making you afraid and cautious and a poor job of making you happy. Thinking in imagery also makes the subconscious process information in binary - black or white, on or off. This adds many complications like the fact that the subconscious hates to learn and change, because that would mean rearranging lots of other ideas and beliefs. It also creates confirmation bias - which means that it uses everything it perceives to confirm whatever it already believes. Are you beginning to see why it's so hard to change our thinking patterns that got established during infancy and early childhood? If deep, foundational change is so hard, how does this book make it easier? Change has been hard because we've been trying to change from a rational, conscious perspective. The subconscious (which is mostly in charge of our day-to-day behavior and therefore, our destiny) doesn't understand that. It's like taking a vacation to Italy and expecting people to understand Japanese. By learning and speaking in imagery and emotion (which is much easier than you may think), the subconscious responds very well. Over 100 techniques show you how to quickly locate areas that need changing (aka healing) and release old patterns which allows newer, better ones to appear in their place. Sounds deep. Is it hard to understand and apply? Absolutely not. These ideas aren't actually very complex, they're just new for most people. And they're written in a way that makes them very easy to understand and apply. The proof is that once you read them, they make so much sense that they seem obvious, and you wonder why they never occurred to you before. What do you mean by "intuitive" healing? "Intuitive" just means that you understand something emotionally, or on a "gut" level. For example, ask yourself whether you feel happy, sad, or some other emotion today. You know the answer by understanding your feelings, and that's intuition. This book shows you how to identify and understand many more feelings going on inside you than you were probably ever aware of. Several sources of intuitive information exist, and this book primarily focuses on understanding and working with feelings that originate from your subconscious mind, because that's where most of your problems originate and it's where you can unleash incredible power to support your goals and transform your life. How can established energy healers use Heal Your Mind? This volume doesn't explain how to tap into other people's minds and heal their blocks, but if you already know how to do that, then the 100+ healing techniques are a veritable gold mine! They're FAR more effective than than one-size-fits-all, non-specific approaches that lack two-way communication with the blocks you wish to address. Also, once anyone gets some practice understanding his or herself intuitively, then working with someone else is just a short hop away, and you can learn more about that in my 99-cent ebook How to See Yourself and Others.

Shaun Roundy was born in New Jersey, then moved to Massachusetts, California, and Brazil before growing up in Logan, Utah. He has since lived in Spain, Taiwan, China, and Honduras. Shaun loves connecting with people, so it’s natural that he also loves languages. He speaks Spanish and French fluently, along with some Chinese and enough of four more languages to either get by or get in trouble. He first learned intuitive healing techniques thirty years ago, and has been studying, practicing, and innovating ever since. He didn’t realize how unique some of his abilities were until other professional pointed it out and encouraged him to go professional with what he had been giving away for free in order to devote more time to it and reach a wider audience. When more and more clients expressed interest in becoming intuitive energy healers and learning these techniques for themselves (“So I can make other people feel as good as I do right now!” as one explained), and with seven other books under his belt and 15 years of teaching strategic writing and critical thinking at the university level, writing this book became a logical next step. Shaun loves excellence and actualization, and has always been a cheerful, optimistic idealist, but also pragmatic enough to know that changing the world usually requires a lot of hard work. As a teacher and mentor, he then attempts to build bridges to make it easier for everyone who must follow along the same path. This book is a perfect example of that orientation. Adventure also plays large roles in Shaun’s life and sense of meaning. He enjoys most outdoor and extreme sports and has climbed 18,000' mountains and sailed 2,500 miles through two oceans as first mate aboard a 53’ sailboat. For the past fifteen years, he has put his expertise to serviceable use on the busy Utah County Sheriff volunteer Search and Rescue teamand as the chair of the Mountain Rescue Association’s Intermountain Region for most of the past seven years. Other notable accomplishments include a master’s degree in English, a political science internship in Washington, DC, appearances on the Discovery Channel, NPR’s All Things Considered, award-winning KUED documentaries, and numerous appearances on the local news.
