SATIN VERSES is a collection of poetry by R. Leland Waldrip. The subjects covered are varied: potpourri, political/social comment, love poems, population comments, and essays. A substantial thrust of many of the poems showcase Waldrip's amystic orientation, as he explores age-old questions of dogma vs faith in acquisition of knowledge. Waldrip uses primarily a rhyming couplet style, with emphasis on rhythm of language.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
R. Leland Waldrip terminated a thirty-two year career as a computer systems analyst to more fully explore his artistic side. He owns three U.S. patents in the areas of solar energy, fishing gear and beverage containers. He has written four novels: two outdoor adventures, a sci-fi, and a medical thriller, one children's picture book, a collection of poetry. An exercise manual is scheduled for publication early 2003. He lives with wife Linda and their four Jack Russell Terriers near the Rappahannock River in northern Virginia, where he fishes, hunts, hikes and communicates these passions via his publishing company, Rappahannock Books.
