Before becoming a children's author, Charline taught elementary students in Arizona and Saudi Arabia. Now she keeps in touch with young people through visits to schools and libraries.Her enthusiasm for books, reading and writing shines during fun, interactive presentations.

Charline Profiri grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and fondly remembers playing with horned lizards in her backyard. At age six, she chose teaching as a career because she idolized her first grade teacher. In the first grade she won a yo-yo contest, and in the eight grade a smile contest. She has never stopped smiling. After graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in Elementary Education, she taught kindergarten through third grade in the desert locales of Phoenix, Saudi Arabia and Tucson. She is the proud mother of two adult daughters. She has traveled in 15 countries, lived in 19 homes in 5 states (AZ, CA, NM, NY, WI) and now lives in Tucson, AZ. A kid at heart, she collects giraffes and loves to stay up late and sleep late, blow bubbles, laugh, walk, read, write and savor dark chocolate. Since beginning her new career as a children's author, she has written stories and poems for children of all ages. Her writing has appeared in Highlights for Children, Pockets,and My Friend among others. Sherry Rogers was born and raised in Oregon. Twenty-three years ago she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where for over 10 years she enjoyed a successful career as a graphic designer/illustrator with three high profile engineering companies. After relocating with her family to Rocklin California 6 years ago, Sherry made a career change to illustrating for children which is where her heart has always been. Sherry has illustrated 6 children's books, two for the educational market, and is currently working on sketches for another picture book and is in contract to illustrate two more picture books. Sherry lives, eats, and breathes art. Just ask her family! Her favorite time to draw and paint is between 10pm and 2am. If she is not drawing or painting, she is probably reading about art, or studying art. Sherry currently lives in Northern California with her husband, son, daughter, two dogs, and two cats.
