This level is to be used with the student who has had approximately 9-10 years of music lessons, and is playing piano literature at the level of Mozart's Piano Sonatas, or Chopin's Waltzes. The contests of this book correspond with the requirements for Level 9 of the Music Teachers' Association of California Certificate of Merit Piano Syllabus
