I was born and raised in Chillicothe, a small town in Ohio, the Buckeye State’s first capital and also its third. I served four years in the United States Air Force and “fought” the Korean War at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada, as a radar mechanic in a weather detachment; we tracked weather balloons. I received a BS degree from Tri-State College in Indiana and an MS from the Florida Institute of Technology. I worked for ten years on the Apollo program at kennedy Space Cener. I lived and worked in Germany for thirteen years and spent two years working in Turkey. I was married twice, first time for fifty-one years, the second for seven. I am the father of three, grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of ten. Wow, and I’m only thirteen. Also, for fun, I sometimes take liberties with the facts, but only when it’s obvious. I am controlled by a Shih Tzu – that’s a dog, my constant companion, Koko.
