A graduate of Georgetown University, John A. Kessler has spent over 35 years in Human Resources with several major corporations and as a speaker for the American Management Association. He has also taught Communication, Customer Service, and Human Resources at both Fairfield and Western Connecticut State Universities.
Mr. Kessler has worked with a countless number of people over the years and has drawn from those experiences the basic human emotions that everyone feels. He has attempted to capture these emotions and develop a theme from which the average person can identify himself and begin to embrace his individual position in society.
Mr. Kessler's hopes for Reflections of an Ordinary Person are "to urge every reader, no matter what their position or status in life, to understand that they are in fact special and can have meaning--that everybody counts and can make a contribution to life and nobody is too small or insignificant."
At present, John Kessler and his wife Marion currently reside in Reading, Pennsylvania. Besides this volume, the author has had two poems published in separate anthologies: "Fear and Hope" in A Prism of Thought and "Love" in Great Poems of Today.
