These poems represent the difficult task of re-vision, revising certain ends into different revisions. We learn first how to reach back before we understand the reaching forward, and there are no exceptions. Some of the poems date as far back as a particularly white January in 1978, the year that forced adventure into love, death, and marriage. This collection, initially completed in the fall of 1989, is the task of a young man during a memorable time when someday finally passed through the present, and he realized, watching it speed along the disappearing track, that yesterdays are always and neverending.
