This journal begins with an account of Borys's wife's emotional infidelity after six years of marriage, and an explanation of the personal growth that this crisis triggered. Eventually, this growth facilitated both his and his wife's recommitment to their marriage. The journal then recounts various struggles and calls to growth they later experienced as their marriage became a truly spiritual path for both. Borys is articulate about his feelings and his vulnerabilities. He is deeply personal--but not embarrassingly so--which means that he touches on universal concerns. This book is highly recommended for public libraries.
