June 1995, a young woman's car is found illegally parked in Soho, London. Inside, police discover tear gas, weapons, and ammunition. The woman who returns to the car is arrested but refuses to speak. In Romanov (the name given to the unknown woman by the court), artist Adam Chodzko starts with a contemporary newspaper clippings and attempts to fill in the missing voice of this story: Romanov's.
