LESLIE GEDDES-BROWN is a leading writer on food, gardening and interior design, and a member of the Guild of Food Writers. For several years she wrote a weekly food column for Country Life, and she continues to review cookery books for the magazine. Her previous titles include Books Do Furnish a Room (Merrell, 2009).
