Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Sir Roy Strong gehört zu den führenden Gartenhistorikern und Landschaftsgärtnern in England. Der frühere Direktor der National Portrait Gallery und des Victoria and Albert Museums in London ist selbst ein begeisterter Gärtner - sein eigener formaler Garten in Herefordshire ist weithin bekannt.
