Intended as an introduction to early learning skills, and to make learning fun and rewarding, this book focuses on shapes. The simple text invites children to match halves of fruit and find the missing shapes in a jigsaw. It is intended to help children to recognize simple mathematical shapes, such as squares, triangles, cyclinders and spheres. The four books which are part of this series, concentrate on a particular mathematical concept: numbers, shapes, sizes and patterns. There are 12 or more interactive puzzles in each book which will encourage children to develop matching, sorting, comparing and categorizing skills.
