Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Stanley Wells is Chairman of the Trustees of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Emeritus Professor on Shakespeare Studies at Birmingham University. His books include Shakespeare: For All Time, and Shakespeare's Sonnets. James Shapiro is a Professor at Columbia University. His books include Rival Playwrights: Marlowe, Jonson, Shakespeare, Shakespeare and the Jews and 1599: A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare. Tarnya Cooper is Sixteenth Century Curator at the National Portrait Gallery. She co-curated the exhibition Elizabeth at the National Maritime Museum in 2003. Marcia Pointon is Professor Emerita at Manchester. Visiting Professor at Birkbeck College, University of London, and Hon. Research Fellow at the Courtauld Institute. She is currently Visiting Scholar at the Getty Research Institute and a Fellow at the Huntington Library, California.
