Mark Wallinger came to prominence in Britain in the mid 1980s and has since earned an international reputation. He was short-listed for the Turner Prize in 1995 and recently completed a new piece of work, Ecce Homo, for the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square, London.Wallinger is one of the most consistently interesting and ambitious British artists of the last 15 years.
